I love XP – I think Microsoft does really cool stuff – and even though my entire crowd of true nerd friends ?Want to Do Everything to Stop the Empire? – I really like most of it. This example with XP – which is truely brilliant. I mean – EVERY OTHER “Most Liquid Company in the WORLD” – would never be able to move with such speed. XP is very nice – NEVER SHOW ME BLUE SCREEN – eventhoug I use PhotoShop, Macromedia Flash 5, Premiere, Outlook, Calculator, Messenger, Trillian and IE – at the same time – on my P850/256RAM.
The proof of the success can be seen here – my top5 geeky friend Torben – praises XP on his Messenger Title – Thats called GUERILLA/VIRUS MARKETING – and is normally small garage startups ONLY.

Yesterday I zapped by the most insane TV show on earth (a Danish thing called Hit Med Sangen) – and DAMN – featuring – was THE NATIONAL NEWS ICON (Mr. Lykkeg岤 & Mr. Kratzs) – sitting there without a clue about what was happening – mumbling Sinatra. I have admired those guys !!! WHY WHY WHY – do we really loose personnel selfCritics – when exposure rises to MAX?
I KNOW I HAD MY 15min (DOT DK) TvShow – but I made it because I believed in it !

INTERSIL 802.11

I’ve been talking to any hotshot on earth about 802.11 – PhD?s, Professors, Smelly CEO’s and Cool Sales guys – but all of them have been full of BLUFF & BULLSHIT. An then yesterday I had a GOOOD experience – I have been mailing with Trent – and HE CALLED ME. It seems like big COMPNIES – after recession – have made a Cooperate Politic – about acting like assholes (CISCO as number one – BUSH WOULD SAY – MAJOR LEAUGE…) – BUT MR. INTERSIL is the exception that proves the rule. He answered all my questions – and added a lot of knowledge – NICE. Well DEAR VALUED READER – now you’ve been using 40 sec’s reading this and I’ll give you some 802.11 INFO PORN. 802.11b (11Mb in the 2,4Ghz band) is huge – brilliant and genius – but this autumn Intel released a 802.11a (52Mb in the 5Ghz band NOT 802.11b compatible) series of products – and was supposed to be revolutionary. But as Trent told me – and I partly already discovered – the 802.11g (52Mb in the 2,4Ghz band) wil be the killer standard of several reasons. One it’s backward compatible. TWO is allowed worldwide. It’s a part of the revolution – LEAN BACK – and look forward to throw away all your cables – and remember that the major Telco’s have paid ZILLIONS (and are nearly broke) because of 3G (2-3MB in the 30Ghz band) – WISE GUYS ;)

PS. IEEE approved the standars from INTERSIL ;)

There is something strange here – I truly like the name – its simple and nice too say – even with my silly Danish accent ;) – These guys are going to make a difference in Danish public relations. They are not garage teens – but they have professionalism – I’ve never seen before. I REALLY HOPE THEI WILL HAVE SUCCES – also when they are scaling the business – because it’s going to be a faaaast moving company.

OK – many people HATE Microsoft – just because they are big. BUT Real seems too be more stupid – then it should be allowed to be. The procedure to get their brand new designer PLAYER – Real One – is complicated – and tricky – just to make people pay – NASTY Abe?s. A lot of big broadcasters use REAL – just because they once where cool – and now the users are trapped – BAD BAD BAD.

Ever since I was 6 – I’ve loved the idea of other people becoming like me – or me becoming like them – so that we could do stuff together (DAMN I’m simpleminded). And I felt that same thing – when I read my mail this morning. Martin has been on his knees in Vegas – and Camilla did luckily wanted to give it a try :)

Now I’ve tried it – and it’s here. But I’m 10000% convinced that 802.11 will kill that hyped piece of shit – SORRY for getting emotional. You can read 1000’s of articles about the coExisting and Bluetooth and 802.11 – but we don’t need something with short range and lack of standards :)

Well I have to admit it – I’m 1000% into all that wireless stuf. I even dream wireless – wow think about it – maybe someday telepathicly we can get visitors – when somebody encrypt the signals in between the nerves. WELL IT WILL NOT BE IN MY LIFE – but anyway. I Copenhagen airport – they have setup a wireless network – and you can just PLUG IN YOUR 802.11 Wireles pcmcia card – and turn on your computer – and the stuff will work – S:M:A:R:T ! It’s gonna be ALL OVER !

WoW – I thought I was into many things – but it seamed that I meet a guy with 10 times the projects – and 3 kids – WOW-ooow. Karen and Mike has started the http://bt.com/videophone project – and I think I’ll get to work with then in the near future – somehow.

These – at the same time very English and Very European guys – who I met – trough an e-mail. Took me out
to HUSH a nice restaurant – and we had a very interesting conversation. Peter Bryant has a CV. that makes me look like a rookie or a scout :) The Provu.Co.Uk website sucks – but that doesn’t affect the product.

I really like London – thing move fast – and even though people are “castwhite” and skinny, living from fat breakfasts :) – they are so damn nice – and I LOVE THE ACCENT & THE HUMOR. They are also use to work hard – like Danes – conclusion: I have more in common with British people – then my Scandinavian cousins.

Well I have never ever – even tried to understand it. Jacob Wolff has been praising it since I met him – and even running around in forests (28y old) – acting like he was a holy warrior..
