I must confess that I have not been a fan of his – but that just because Im so competitive and could not bare that my close friend Jimmy Maymann bougth Hornsleth pieces 2years before I even knew who he was. I just realised today how endlessly lucky we are to expirience this era of time. The era where internet really takes of and mobile phones are getting faster connected then slow computers.

1) BROEADBAND IS REALLY GETTING USED – I was at my new neigbourhs today – very nice elderly couple – who had been cut off from broadband due to the work in our house. They had asked me if I could do anything to get them broedband back – the did not care about the phoneline (landline) since they have cellphones. So I took my WIMAX BOX – and a wifibox – and installed in ther computer room (YES THEY HAVE EACH A COMPUTER and they are above 65).

2) SLOW PCs WITH BROADBAND ARE SLOWER THEN CELLPHONES – the lady nextdoor had so much spyware and stuff on her PC that starting a browser took 2min. And it suddenly got to my mind that CELLPHONES are now WAY FASTER THEN most offf all PCs – since they are full of spyware and strange apps – that people download and forget about…

I wonder if this is 2.0…

I have been working on balancing my worklife and my family life over this summer. Not WORK/FAMILY – but worklife and family life separately.

FAMILY LIFE
During spring I tried a couple of time to find myself sitting in the couth – being angry when some of my family members asked me to come and see something or do something. I felt very bad and very lazy – and the solution seemed to be loose 10kg and drink less alcohol. Its done (over 4 months) and suddenly I feel like a energi dad. THATS NICE. I think the hard part will be to keep it – but I really hope I can.

WORKLIFE
Since we at LundKenner do so many things and expand as fast as our sleeping rhythms allow – I chose too hire J – to help me out with my time – inspired by the SUPEREFFECTIVE SaxoBank honcos, our chairman Robert and Tim Drapers left part of his brain = the amazing Karen. (People who now me way back – also know that the word double booking was not new to me ;) Having someone to coordinate my meetings and calender and conference-calls and speaks and travel – really changed my life in quite some ways. First of all I dont have 3-4 disappointed/angry people showing up to meetings that I forgot – THAT REALLY GIVES ME A BETTER MENTAL HEALTH. Secondly I dont have to spend time coordinating the 20-30 appointments per week (wow I sound important now – but its facts). Thirdly – I have for the first time learned to ask for help – so that J takes care of booking/research.. (that VERY NEW TO ME). Last its VERY VERY good for my family – since I don’t have to think about “what did I forget” when Im home.

I think I have to learn to cope with it – but Im so bad at loosing. Today I just got a call from three guys whom Ive been helping A LOT – A LOT – and even given quite a portion of money. They told me that they LOST MY MONEY – and even though Im 100% responsible for their existence (money, network, distribution partners…) – they have choosen to forget about me – and leave me in the cold. I feel like smashing windows and shouting really loud – and going after all the connections I made them and stop it. But But But – I want to be professional . and loose with pride. And see my help and gentleness become a finacial loss. FUCK – that was good to get it out of my system.

Now I will whistle some Roge Whitaker and pretend that Im a Jogi ;)
