After being psycho aggressively investing in the last 4 months – deploying 10mio€ into 20 companies  I have found a person and a company (structure) where I will spend all my time and focus for the next 6 months. Its all about financial services for ordinary people – a bit like Zecco (the unbelievable success with now 50.000 clients). I think there is an insane and enormous potential. I will off course tell you much more – when I can.

And yes I dare to think that we can create millions of happy clients and billions of value.

I have been to MANY many MANY board meetings – and I have to admit that Im probably the worst board member in the world. Mainly due to my attentionspan of about 2min :(

But I enjoy meetings with young structured Americans who really deliver like a Radio show – and just brush you up on the business in 1,5h.  (And Morrie – you know who I mean – you are fucking good!)

Sorry – that I have not been posting so much lately – but off course there are various reasons.

Politics and Impact
Over the last month – I have found myself eating and winning and talking with the top advisor’s (not just consultants) to Nicolas Sarkozy, Angelina Merkel and Hillary Clinton – and even though my only goal is to sracts the surface – and find out whats behind the power structures – I have gotten a little bit struck.

Architecture and Impact
I have spend time with some very very high impact developers and architects – and same story – I got a bit overwhelmed – due to the LONG TERM impact this stuff has. Psoting from Iassons unbelievable villas in Anti Paros

Investments and Impact
I have gone into nearly 75 companies and 95% goes very well – and Im not very needed there. Some would think that I did a smart move – but basically my luck has again striked – and even double since the entrepreneurs and companies who does very well – like me pretty muc hbecause I dont interfere.

Family and Impact
I  got  over my trouble in december – and spring has been very very good. But now reality and normallity has kicked in again – and I find it a bit difficult. And maybe Im just pushing the speed to much ?

Water and Impact
My water project – is now has interest from the most influencial people in the world – and one of the biggest industrial players in the sector. And again – I´m really really starting to feel HUMBLE – that I cant help to get such traction – after near bankruptcy in January.

Summer
This season is NOT my favorite and I really fight with handling my own expectations to life and holidays… Darn I think I think to much – but maybe thats normal for people who promotes Act – don’t talk :)

Im so proud to be part of this Glubble project . Ian is a true master. It should be under my WILD concept – since its really something GOOD for kids.

I had been thingking about this before – but I must admit that I was a bit suprised when I saw that Gardner now says its for real.

I have loved Zecco since I met the guys first time (well actually we first declined – but then after some wine – Soren and I went all in). And now Jeroen and partners have really made it to BIG. And this picture show all their self confidente in one shot ;)

Today I had a 100% fantastic expirience. I was invited to the FREEWAY BAD ASS CAMP – where this Danish online empire -> Number one in Dating, Auctions, Partyphotos (new category), Teen Flirting and much more. Henrik, Morten and UPDATE (Morten Sr. is also a very important part) started this as a garage project 9 years ago – and today they have the most sexy and profitable online/media company in the world (looking at impact pr. capita – pitty its only present in Denmark). The 15 companies they own – always with 51% minimum – are all build with fokus on social/community features and paying subscribers – even the auction site has 33%+ paying subscribers ;) – and now they are starting to see the advertising revenue kicking – and THEY CANT STOP SMILING – they feel its FREE PROFIT – nearly too easy. Wow – I wish I had made some video – but Im having a PODCASTING MENTAL BLOCK – I simply dont feel comfortable taking out the cam – darn…

So anno 2007 – hearing these hot hot companies and the 3 majority owners and 20 minority owners (all web entrepanuers to the bone) – speak and discuss and exchange knowledge was like being in heaven for me. And when i gave my shameless selfpromoting presentation – I had to jump over all 12 slides about – >”Just do it” -> “Act” -> “Imagine how cool its would be” – because these guys where allready many times there…
And then on top of all this – we where picked up in Wagner Jr. plane – it was my first time in such a small plane – and I got totally – high.

For the first time – I have tried a real conman or should I say concouple – really strange. They got German investors and me – they got a supercool partner – they seemed really ok. And now they are taking the company hostage and playing stupid trying to blackmail us. WOW – imagine that I should try this. Weird. I will let you know what the names are soon – so the internet transparency will avoid this to happen to YOU.

Yesterday I was with this very very fine mann – Eran Davidson – the big kahuna at Hasso Plattner Ventures – Eran said someting that stayed in my head until now. He was probobly the first guy I have talked to this decade – who said he was sometime nervous. I realised that this is the biggest tabu in business life – since WE ALL ARE ALL THE TIME. Nervous weather we are good enough, doing the right things, nice enough, smart enough, helpfull enough, rich enough, happy enough, carefull enough… Maybe its just me – Im probably suppressing my own nervousness so much – that this little clue really moved me. But after thinking trough why Im sometimes nervous – I feel much better.

Dear valued reader – close your eyes – do some deep breaths – and think over if and why if – you are a bit nervous today … just face it – think about it – face it – and wupti – dont you feel better ?

Its really strange how my playfull brain just jumps onto new things – to stay teased and occupied and learning. Ive earlier stated that robots are on the radar – and now Finance is also starting to be daily on the radar. Not stocks and shit – thats not for me – somehow its does not move me. But the big LBOs (Kapital buying enourmous companies – by restructuring their dept – and hedgefunds doing their good/bad impact – and now Im trying to find my way into that jungle – with HIGH ETICHS and 100% MORAL. It seems very simple – NOT EASY. … more to come.

Today I was at BoostCompany – the LundKenner of Amsterdam – setup by Pier and Wouter. And I must say – that I thougth we where fast moving in LundKenner – but compare to Boost we are walking in glue.

Business is simple to me – scary simple: Its about people people sales and then an idea and hardcore sales… For me – doing a LOT OF VENTURES its has been a strugle to find the fine balance between BOOTSTRAPED VENTURES (starting form Zero without MONEY) where im pretty good and THE FINANCE PLAY (taking/getting finance for bigger scale operations) where Ive had/have no big clue. But today under influence of SUN – it occured to me that I just need a ENTREPANURIAL FINANCE GUY :)

Innoing that life cant only be learned from expirience – and not form books or elderly people :) I ust say that Tim Draper gave me a very BIG HINT in a mail friday. Dear valued readr – GO LAERN YOUR LIFE !

My very close friend Lars who has some very nice designerish houses on Ibiza – is now also doing some very interesting new hotel projects – with the people who has this fantastic hotel in Marokko. This island is getting hot as a finnish sauna ;) – even tough still very few people know – proof: all villas has been rented for the full summer since decemeber :)

WHY AM I ALL IN

Im all in this because I love to see a little or medium idea becomming a flying swan – and the journey to get there… Personally I know Im probobly one of the best in the world – actually I dont even doubt – but I also know how endlessly week I am after the first kiss/touch.. As soon as the pattern of the deal I have in my head is reality I loose a bit of interest – not 100% but I just start to see how I can get my next high from identifying a new thing – a new idea – a new team of poeple (or an old) – a new structure …. I cant even express how humble and happy I am to be in a setup like the one we already have (thats suposed to take years) – I see 4-5 people who will just give their left ball to make this happen – to make good companies and HIGH PROFITS FROM THE TIME and NETWORK and money we invest. Promise me guys that you jump this if you suddenly get another real interest in life. since what we are about to do is not about working halftime or fulltime – hey realise its LIFETIME. And if anyones doubts – Ive chosen to do this with first Soren and then ALL OF YOU GUYS – so lets fucking be agressive like NO ONE ELSE – and demanding. (When the inner Demand to yourself is SKYHIGH – then the souroundings gets it !). Dear valued partners – I cant wait to see where we will go.

PROUD PORTEFOLIO

I look at the stuff we have in our portefolio as an artcollection a carefully selected family – a part of me – that I want to be assosiated with. REALLY like a part of my personality – it BRANDS ME it is ME. BulLGuard ME – I am Maxthon – I am Wiseled – I tell people about it – and i act like I am Heleca.. Dear Partners if you have just a bit of emotions for any of the ventures we have – then dont hessitate to take all the hornor promote yourself for being part of it – BE FUCKING PROUD. Im proud of the team we have – really PROUD – and I cant wait to our next exit – where we can party and hug and be proud together – because we are in a DEEPLY RICKY business and failure is WAY MORE COMMON then SUCCES for our ventures – AND US. Dont start taking pills – but be realistic – this is extremely difycult and we will only survive if we BELIEVE IN IT AND STAY TOGETHER 100% for years.

HOW TO BEHAVE

I want us all to be humble as hell – and hornest like hell – and gentlemen – really gentlemen who hold the door for women and startups and talent. I have this fantastic picture in my head of someone who offered me ligth (when I was smoking) and 2nd time one evening someone did I was always just positive to them (no matter if I even liked them or talked to them)… More important we need a system to follow up on OPPERTUNITIES – or to be more frank – to reject……(taken out not to be copied)

GOALS

I want to

a) Make my mother and my wife proud of me – and disapoint as few people as posible !I

b) I want to have FUN – FUN and I want people to respect LundKenner and respect (be impressed by) our achivements and our ability to handle risk – and time after time turn risktaking into being lucky.

I hope so much they will do a venture with me some day :) – I?ve been pitching then since 1998.
