I find this VERY REVOLUTIONING – Google Maps for everyone video

I simply love – www.twitter.com  and everything around it. First of all that its SO ENDLESSLY SIMPLE – a brainer. Secondly that its done by the most powerful guys in the webspace – Evan and Obvious and Friends. Theyare winning all prices and awards this year and Im simply addicted. Looking forward to see the business model – but dont e worried – the service will survive – (Evan got a good deal when he sold Bloggger to Google – and any VC will give their left ball to get in now).

To be very hornest – i must say that I have not told you dear users about it – due to the greedy and ugly fact – that I have been thinking about launching something similiar. Bad me – Bad.

One of my startups is VERY SUCCESFULL – but it takes a positivist to get it:

They make NO MONEY
They use 200.000€ every month
Their product is free
They will go technically bankrupt in may

Wierd – weird – They are a TOP 100 Company in Europe
– and the team is amazing – and will succed and EVERYONE wants to finance them.

Im thinking a lot about what the Big Plan is – when you are involved with 50-60 ventures. And it looks more and more like having something to do with revenue…

9 months ago Zecco was a bizz idea – yesterday our guys took it live with a power Ive NEVER SEEN BEFORE. And we got 20 times more accounts opened then we where even dreaming of first day.

I feels like Copenhagen is getting so much hipper and more happening then ever. 5years ago I would never get a call from foreigners who where suddenly in Town – but now it happens quite often. Thats NICE.

I hate to be such a follower and so predictable. But off course – I have started to get somehow interested in contemporary art… Like always too late and with quite no taste. But I find it very fashinating and Im working on a quite big project here in Copenhagen – and went to Zurich to research it yesterday… This piece is Hornsleth – a pretty big Danish artist – playing with the SAXO BANK LOGO. I must confess that I have not been a fan of his – but that just because Im so competitive and could not bare that my close friend Jimmy Maymann bougth Hornsleth pieces 2years before I even knew who he was. Duhh Im pathetic…

Web business has a glimse of FASHION (people want new just to get new) – and for the smart (anti Yuppie) new generation of Startups (development companies) the initial cost of TAKING ON THE BIG ESTABLISHMENT IS VERY LOW. I have earlier been mentioning the Wunderkids from 37signals – with probably more users of their NO BRAINIER WEBSERVICES (not negative) in the SMB segment then Microsoft Business Solutions and for sure SAP. Not to mention www.successfactors.com who have +1,5mio B2B users on their people management ASP solution ;) – BRAVO BINGO – go home Mr. Selfish SuperEgo EllisonCopy Salesforce.com.

Im fallow a bit in love with the hyped guys at Shopify – who are smarter then the rest.
1) Shopify did a small friends and family round (Aug. 2005)
1A) – the founders don’t take salary (love it !)
1AA) – that gives them 12 more months

2) – they use free software (

3) – they play the buzz game better then even Mcculley Culkin in the early 90�ies. Even without launching (could backfire – but better the being stealth for life ;)
